Cartoon Network Arabic To Be Available On Yahlive Satellite Service
Yahlive, a Abu Dhabi based satellite broadcasting company has announced today (02/07/2017) that they will carry Cartoon Network Arabic on the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) beam on its Yahsat 1A satellite. Yahlive already has an existing deal with Turner Broadcasting System Europe to carry CNN International on its satellite service. Yahlive used to carry a short-lived high-definition feed of Cartoon Network Arabic on its satellite service in the Middle East, the HD version of the channel launched in 2012 and has since closed.
All channels on Yahsat 1A are free-to-air and the new deal will extend coverage of Cartoon Network Arabic to new audiences. Viewers who use the Yahlive service will now get to enjoy episodes of Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, the Cartoon Network Studios Arabia animated production – Mansour and many more.
Regarding the deal with Turner, Sami Boustany, Yahlive chief executive officer said

We have also added over 50 TV channels to our offerings this year and we are working closely with regional broadcasters to ensure that our audience have access to their preferred, popular channels”
Tarek Mounir, vice president and general manager of Turner in MENA, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus also added:
